Week 6

Day 42
Wow! I finaly got the courage to try the weights this week. One of the girls I talk to while on the treadmill convinced me to give it a try.

She explained how losing weight will slow down your metabolism, and how excercise will speed it back up. it’s not about burning calories by excercising, but about raising your “resting metabolic rate”. Plus, it gives your body incredible curves :)

She has a remarkable figure, so I’m not worried about looking like a guy :)

She showed me some basic excercises, and it was exciting to try some new things. I was afraid I’d make a fool out of myself, but I was wrong. Susan helped me realize everyone else there is just like me - trying to better themselves.
